TankerNow is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using TankerNow, you agree to the practices described here.

1Information We Collect

  • When you use TankerNow as a customer, we collect your name, phone number, and delivery address to fulfill your water delivery requests.
  • When you register as a driver, we collect your name, phone number, CNIC, driving license, vehicle registration, and vehicle photographs for identity and safety verification.
  • We collect your device's GPS location while using the app to enable real-time tracking of deliveries. Location access is only active during an active session.
  • We collect in-app chat messages between customers and drivers solely for the purpose of facilitating communication and resolving disputes.

2How We Use Your Information

  • To match customers with available, verified drivers in their area.
  • To provide real-time GPS tracking of your delivery.
  • To process and manage your orders, payments, and delivery history.
  • To verify driver identity and ensure the safety of all platform users.
  • To send you notifications about your order status, driver assignment, and delivery updates.
  • To resolve complaints and disputes between customers and drivers.
  • To improve our platform based on usage patterns and feedback.

3Information Sharing

  • We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.
  • When you place an order, your delivery address and first name are shared with the assigned driver to facilitate delivery.
  • When a driver accepts your order, their name and vehicle details are shared with you for safety.
  • We may share information with law enforcement or regulatory authorities if required by law.

4Data Security

  • All data transmitted through TankerNow is encrypted using industry-standard protocols.
  • Access to personal information is restricted to authorized personnel only.
  • Driver documents are stored securely and are only accessible to platform administrators for verification purposes.
  • We regularly review our security practices to protect your information.

5Your Rights

  • You may request access to the personal information we hold about you at any time.
  • You may request correction of inaccurate information in your account.
  • You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting our support team.
  • You may withdraw consent for location tracking by disabling location permissions in your device settings, though this will affect app functionality.

6Cookies and Tracking

  • The TankerNow mobile app does not use browser cookies. We use anonymous analytics inside the app to understand how it is used and to improve our service, and no personally identifiable information is included in that data.
  • This website is separate and does use cookies and similar technologies, through two third-party tools:
  • Google Analytics — measures how many people visit the site, which pages they open, and where they arrived from. We use this to improve the website. We do not use it to identify you personally.
  • Meta Pixel (Facebook) — tells us when someone visits the site after seeing one of our posts or adverts, and allows us to show TankerNow adverts to that person later on Facebook and Instagram. This is advertising technology, not anonymous analytics, and the data is shared with Meta.
  • Both tools are provided by companies outside Pakistan and are governed by their own privacy policies — Google at policies.google.com/privacy and Meta at facebook.com/privacy/policy.
  • You can stop both by blocking cookies in your browser settings, by using your browser's private or incognito mode, or through your Facebook ad preferences. Blocking them does not affect your ability to use the website or order a tanker.

7Children's Privacy

  • TankerNow is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18.
  • We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
  • If we become aware that a user is under 18, we will take steps to remove their information.
