How to permanently delete your customer or driver account

This page explains how to delete your TankerNow account — whether you're a customer or a driver — and exactly what happens to your data when you do.

1How to delete your account from the app

  1. Open the TankerNow app and sign in.
  2. Open the menu (tap your profile / the menu icon in the top corner of the home screen).
  3. Tap Delete Account.
  4. Confirm when prompted. Your request is processed within 24–48 hours, and you don't need to re-enter an OTP to confirm.

2Can't access the app?

If you no longer have the app installed or can't sign in, email support@tankernow.com from the phone number or email associated with your account and request deletion. We'll verify your identity and delete your account within 7 business days.

3What gets deleted

  • Your name, phone number, and profile details
  • For drivers: CNIC, driving license, and vehicle documents/photos on file
  • Your account sign-in (Firebase Authentication record)
  • Your in-app notifications

4What may be retained

  • Past order records (delivery history, amounts) may be retained after account deletion, as required for accounting, tax, and dispute-resolution purposes
  • Information you shared with another user before deletion (e.g. a chat message a driver or customer already received) may still exist in that person's copy of the conversation
